The Asian Pacific Youth Leadership Project (APYLP) is a non-profit organization that sponsors a statewide conference for high school juniors and seniors. In this conference, you will have an opportunity to participate in group workshops on:
- leadership development
- cultural identity and awareness
- the legislative process
- public speaking skills
As a participant you will also be able to:
- participate in mock legislative sessions
- hear from elected officials and prominent speakers from the Asian and Pacific Islander community
A total of fifty juniors and seniors will be selected from STATEWIDE applicants to participate in this conference on April 11-14, 2019 in Sacramento. The APYLP will pay ALL EXPENSES for the participants including:
- travel
- lodging
- meals
