🎓 SUHI Grad Panel Hear from SUHI grads who are now currently majoring in CS and other STEM majors in community college or university. Bring your questions for the open Q&A session at the last 10 minutes of the panel.
Tuesday 12/8 (3:30PM – 4:30PM)
👩🏾‍💻 Careers in CS and Tech Panel Ever wondered what it was like to work in tech? Hear from software engineers from companies like Sony and Facebook. You’ll also hear about other jobs in tech like Site Reliability Engineering! Bring your questions for the open Q&A session at the last 10 minutes of the panel.
Wednesday 12/9 (3:30PM – 4:30PM)
🤖 Coding Animations with Xochi & her Robot Friend This workshop will use Scratch programming to create animated stories using illustrations of Xochi and her Robot Friend created by Thao Nguyen. See an example here!
Thursday 12/10 (3:30PM – 4:30PM)
🖥️ Intro to “No Code” Web Development with Weblow This workshop will explore the basics of web development using Webflow, a no-code development environment. No previous development experience required, but students with some experience will still benefit! You will need to create a free account with Webflow for this workshop.
Friday 12/11 (3:30PM – 4:30PM)
📈 Creating Patterns with Snap Programming! This workshop will explore how simple programs can be used to create unique geometric drawings. Bring your creativity, but no experience is required! You will need to access this website.
