Science

The Sweetwater High School Science Department seeks to create an environment that provides the following.

• Fosters a lifetime of critical inquiry and learning.
• Supports collaborative effort to expand student knowledge of science in pathways appropriate to chosen career goals.
• Produces graduates with the knowledge and skills that will allow them to function as responsible and contributing members of society.

The Science department will foster a learning community which ensures students of varying ethnicity, culture, socio-economic status and language have multiple opportunities to thrive and excel in science .
