Meet My Zombie Girlfriend

The Theater Guild is a spirited group of individuals who love to express themselves with singing, dancing, and portraying different personalities their subconscious may hold in order to show their audience who they are not only in the script, but also as individuals. Every student in theatre brings the drive and passion with every line in their script which they so patiently take the time to memorize for the enjoyment of the audience.

Theres something special about the individuals in the Theater Guild; each has qualities very different from the people around them. It’s as though the differences they hold are not only what drives their individuality, but also their success as actors. Without this quality, they would be lost in their area of expertise. What these students do is a true art. Being able to remain in character for an extended amount of time and openly being able to adapt to another demonstrates genuine talent.

The students’ work in the Theater Guild is a sincere reflection on their director, Mr. Ben Cassel, who guides the students toward success and glory, ever-expectant of an encore as the last line is said. And, sincerely, the encore was truly deserving, as evidenced by their play, Once A Zombie, Always A Zombie, which was shown on stage on both the 28th and 29th of October.
