The 2015-2016 school year is almost coming to an end, which means that all the senior festivities are inching closer. With this in mind, students have been preparing to buy their Grad Nite tickets. However, with limited seats for Grad Nite, Class of 2016 students have rushed their way over to ASB in hopes of saving their spot.

Before spring break, there was some unfortunate news. If students do not start paying for their tickets, then buses will start to be cut. After this announcement, Grad Nite tickets have been selling from left to right. A week before spring break, only one bus was filled. In a matter of a few days, up to five buses were filled, with only a few spots left to spare. The last day before spring break, students who were waiting the whole lunch time had to get assigned a number because they were unable to purchase a ticket during the available time and had to return to ASB after break to save their spot.

The Grad Nite chaos has left students in a scare, and many were worried they would not be able to attend this wonderful event. Thankfully, students hoping to pay after break were given the chance. Tickets were nearly sold out by the end of the week after coming back from break. During every opportunity there was to buy a ticket, there was a long line that followed.

In the end, the senior class was able to successfully fill up buses in a just few weeks. With the right motivation, students were able to prevail and get those Grad Nite tickets purchased. Initially, students were expected to depart from National City at 12 pm, but the time has changed and it will depart at 10am, which means there’s a whole two extra hours to enjoy their time at Disneyland!

This event will definitely be one to remember for the Class of 2016!
